following his commands. So they don't understand that they were breaking the law. They think they were doing the right thing, because they were protecting the interests of their beloved leader, who they worship with selfless, mindless devotion.

As more time passes, and more of them are arrested, reality will begin to hit home, and they will cry, as the understanding that will be going to prison dawns on them
