78. There used to be a zoomable map of the US that showed every politician donation by every entity in

the country. I'm pretty sure the site was OpenSecrets.org, but I cannot find the map on the site any more. You can search on names. For instance, this search returned a lot of results https://www.opensecrets.org/donor-lookup/results?name=Donald+Trump, but when I searched on my own name, there were no results, even though I have made donations.

You can also do public info searches on individuals. MyLife is one that often will say if the person is registered to a party. Here's a random person the site IDs as a registered Democrat. Not sure how accurate or up to date the info is, though. https://www.mylife.com/elizabeth-schellenger/e90196698030

Also, sometimes if you ask Dems you know, they can recommend Dem-run businesses.

I wish it were easier, but its not impossible to have some success in avoiding passing our money to Republicans. If Steve Schmidt were to suggest we all do this, I'll bet there would be more tips floating around on how to find Dem companies, doctors, carpenters, etc.
