2. GOP must love this idea: Limbaugh will talk and we will gag ourselves |

friends, this is one BAD tactic.
Most folks have not the patience and time to come back to see some site that was blacked out.
sites will lose newbies. I guarantee it.
There are hundreds of LW sites to evaluate.. newbies have only time to see each once. Waste our time waiting for a download, then ... blacked out??? Irritation, vow never to try that site again.
Dems have only one mass media.. net.. we need to expand, not gag ourselves.
While we lose newbies, Limbaugh will harvest another crop of converts. Typical bonehead dem strategy of late.
Would Limbaugh, if Kerry being installed, volunteer to air three hours of silence?
BAD TACTICS: blackout block rush hour traffic Sufragettes in 1900, poured glue into british home mailboxes
We should be online telling any and all our case against the stolen election, and winning new bookmarks from converts. They will not hear our case anywhere else.
Toss this blackout on the scrap heap. Join this instead:
www.notonedamndime.org
It does not involve any blackout.

3. Couldn't have said it better myself. |

There is no point in an exercise like this. It will only serve to give the right-wing talking heads 24 hours to push their bull while our own should be vehemently debating their nonsense. This is one of the worse forms of protest that I have ever heard and/or read about.

I think the message is very clear. Speaks a lot louder than not shopping today, at least for me, since "Not One Damn Dime" sounds just like a regular day for me....
And I wasn't suggesting DU blackout. And as far as my website, I told the case about the election over and over again. What a lot of good that did....
In the end, I'll bet more people saw my message than realized you didn't spend any latte money this morning.
