my schpiel in response to dnc mooching call

i was not mean, but i am so pissed. the guy started out with his script about how they were gonna stand up to bush, yada, yada.
i said- let me save you some breath. here is how i feel about the dnc-
dean or green. i am so angry at my party and my candidate right now. john kerry broke his promise to make sure every vote was counted. he took the $50+ mil that we donated for this fight, and he ran. he let them steal it. if the democratic party does not AT LEAST elect howard dean as Charmian, they will never get another dime of my money. they need to grow a spine.
he- i got ya. dean is the front runner. he is. the front runner.
i- yeah, he was the front runner for something else, and i know what happened there.
he- well, he is the front runner.
i- well, you be sure to call me back after he is elected.
he- okay.

it felt so good to get it off my chest. he sounded like he had heard it before. no more pink tutus.

1. Good for you

I hope that they are at least beginning to realize what is coming if they go with the DLC. There is no Democratic party without the left. They seem to be trying to do a little better but no where near enough, the attemps to stand up against * and the right so far have been pretty feeble. I too am waiting for Dean or going Green.

2. I got a letter from the DNC

another oneof those begging for money things without any specific plans for spending it and Terry McAuliffe, that useless sob had the nerve to sign it. That shows me that they must not read our emails because I have so chewed him out in the past that I would think he would drop my name from the mailing list.

I told them once again that I would not donate to the DNC until the DLC had lost its stranglehold on the organization.

you can e-mail all you want, but if you EVER wrote a check, you will stay on that list.
one thing that has me so hacked is that they took dean's innovations, and said, oh, we can raise a lot of money on the internet. and john kerry shonuff did. they forgot all about actually talking to people, and especially listening. replaced it with top down authoritarian crappola.

4. That's why I am trying to make a list

of all the Democratic Pacs and national grassroots groups that I can.

Sind these folks found out that we will donate in large sums when asked to help, a lot of perhaps less than honest folks may be jumping on the bandwagon.

Also, I want to know more than just the name of a group that I donate to. I want to know who founded the groups, who sits on their board of directors, what are the policies and issues they support and specifically what my donation will be used for.

So far, I've got these names. Please feel free to add to the list.
