1. The USMC's problem mainly has to do with the high brass.

And they tend to get more attention when a Marine comes out of the closet--either voluntarily or involuntary. Usually the lower ranks who aren't religious nutjobs don't give a damn about someones sexual orientation.

...repealing DADT. While the vast majority isn't worried about GLBTs coming out of the closet.
