Just a note: I'm going to be absent from DU for a while

Just wanted y'all to know this forum has become very important to me but right now I'm so upset about an incident on the GD forum that I feel I need to take a leave of absence from posting. So if I fail to follow up on some threads it isn't because I've stopped caring, okay? I just need some time off to cool down and decide whether DU is really the place for me anymore.

Hopefully I'll talk to y'all again sometime soon. Thanks for letting me be a part of such a great discussion group.

it is good to take time off now and then but please don't let someone's thoughtlessness keep you away. I don't know what happened but there are over 90,000 members and relatively few jerks.

2. sometimes taking a break helps a lot.

walk away from it for a bit, come back fesh and new again. It happens to many of us, and has happened often recently. I am taking a bit of a break also, check in daily but post little, use this place for a couple things, but not bother to get into it in GD. have a nice break.
