Evolution of the feather
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/09/110915131559.htm

ScienceDaily (Sep. 16, 2011) — Secrets from the age of the dinosaurs are usually revealed by fossilized bones, but a University of Alberta research team has turned up a treasure trove of Cretaceous feathers trapped in tree resin. The resin turned to resilient amber, preserving some 80 million-year-old protofeathers, possibly from non-avian dinosaurs, as well as plumage that is very similar to modern birds, including those that can swim under water.

1. It's amazing to think of dinosaurs
as something besides scaly Army surplus green things. Can you imagine a Stegosaurus with a bright red and yellow feather Mohawk going down those back spines? I can and it's great.

2. I sort of hope and pray that we will be able to create a real Jurrasic Park someday.... or
perhaps a Jurrasic planet if the environmental threat would be too great.

The colors are cool but no feathers, durn.
