Where do lizards live? I don't mean in what state or province. |

I mean, where do they stay? In a hole in the ground?

4. I don't know what type of lizard your asking about |
|
but here in Florida, we have anoles. From WIKI: When green anoles and brown anoles cohabit the same area, the brown anoles are primarily terrestrial or restrict themselves to the lower branches of bushes, while the green anoles stay higher. These subtropical lizards are semi arboreal. They usually inhabit regions around 3–6 m (10–20 feet) high. Shrubs, walls, fences, bushes, and short trees are common hiding places.

5. Depends on the species. There are lots of different lizards. |
|
We used to have a small legless lizard that lived in burrows, where it sought earthworms and other underground prey. In the same area, we had lots of other lizards, each of which had different preferences for places to be. It's not a simple question.
