Unearthed! One-of-a-kind map showing a flat Earth is donated to Library of Congress

The Library of Congress in Washington DC is about to be given a rare and unusual gift -- a 120-year-old map supporting the theory that the Earth is flat.

There are five million maps in the library's collection, but not one matches the one belonging to Don Homuth.

Mr Homuth, of Salem, Oregon, says the map was given to him by his eighth-grade English teacher John Hildreth.

I get info fights with Luddites as much as the next person. I wholeheartedly think that a return to the old fashioned pre-industrial world is not only undesirable, but impractical, especially as decent healthcare would get ruined, however, I do not think Luddites are ignorant of science, they just dislike some applications if it, and overall, detest it's abuse. This sort of name calling does not help.
