5. Scale of things

I remember looking across the Grand Canyon about 14 years ago--I was told I was looking at things that were 10 to 15 miles away--it looked soooo close--I realized then that visualizing the grand scale was useless--we have not evolved to comprehend these distances--real cool, though!
