How to Kill Kwanzaa

If Kwanzaa is simply a celebration of African culture by people of African descent, I have no trouble with it. After all, the Greeks have their celebrations, and the Mexicans, and the Chinese, and just about every other ethnic group in America. So why should I care that Kwanzaa is a “made-up holiday,” as I so often hear? After all, someone, somewhere, got the idea that we should start hanging silly colored lights on our houses and firs every December. The “made-up” argument just doesn’t fly, unless history no longer involves, um, the past.

But even if Karenga is a charlatan and a creep, shouldn’t we allow Kwanzaa to stand on its own? After all, I have defended Christmas and Easter against legalists who bemoan their pagan beginnings. The fact is, the heathen elements have long been supplanted by Christian ones, so again, I ask, why should I care?

Okay, I take it all back! Is it safe to assume that Kwanzaa is a disguised form of communistic ideology that yearns for one-world government? Can you say “Lenin,” “Castro” … “Soros”? Enlist me in the struggle to take Kwanzaa down, folks. I don’t advocate gun-totin’ insurrection … at least not yet … but why not fight this nonsense with some of the very tools that the enemy has used against Judeo-Christian traditionalism for centuries? Disrespect, ridicule, scorn.
And so, an idea: Let’s turn Kwanzaa into an obscenity. The liberals did this to the name of God, and they have worked wonders. The result of years of over-familiarity and abuse has turned “God” into a meaningless, innocuous word, thus helping to render His laws and principles so much garbage to our atheist-tainted minds. If it can work against the very Creator of the Universe, surely it can work against a made-up holiday!
A few examples:
* You’re nothing but a piece of kwanzaa.
* Kwanzaa you, loser!
* Get off the road, kwanzaa-kween!
* Shut yer pie-hole, ya filthy kwanzaa!
* Take this job and shove it up your kwanzaa!
