It's been all over that news that General "Hatemonger" Casey picked up where Ann Coulter left off last week, taking a more tactful, but still completely unnecessary swing at homosexuals, as a preemptive step against the proposed legislation ending the whole "don't ask don't tell" nonsense. In yet another step back for America and humanity in general, Casey's aides have commented that he will not be apologizing for his view on homosexuality as immoral. While gay activist groups have clamored for Casey to rescind the statement, a christian group has come to Casey's defense. Why am I surprised? As a liberal lapsed Christian, I sit, shaking my head at the Christian need to have homosexuality to be a crime against god. If they were to cave, what else would they have to make people feel guilty about? Abortion? premarital sex?

For a topic that is only slightly glossed over in the Bible, they seem determined not to let it go. In their fever to make sure that key passages to make sure that we know that Satan is punching every homosexual's ticket, they are glossing over the ones that conflict with their whole world view...you know, like love thy neighbor as thyself, and god made us all in his own image...just think about it.
