Ok, I am going to acknowledge God.
I am a Judge. My banner behind me says "Jesus is Lord." I am not promoting religion, just "acknowledging" it. Do you believe me?

Judge Roy Moore's Ten Commandments, your banner... it's all encroachment. We don't need no theocracy.

3. Why the Brand Loyalty?
If you just want to acknowledge "God", why go with one brand over another (Jesus vs. Krishna vs. Allah vs. Mithras vs. Thoth vs. J.R. "Bob" Dobbs, etc.)

Your picking of a specific deity and a specific brand of dogma makes me very suspicious of your motives.

4. I think the point might also be made that ...
is a courtroom in a (supposedly) non-theocratic nation a place to acknowledge "god", a clearly religious/spirital concept/entity/whatever?
