Forgive me for barging into your forum, but I can't find any link |

to a story that I saw, complete with an interview of the surviving partner, on the weather channel of all places this morning around 6.
The interview was with a still recovering woman who lost her partner in the high wind fiasco in IN earlier. Her partner loved the band Sugarland and that's why they were there. Her partner was killed when the stage collapsed, and in the interview her surviving partner was having a hard time getting their civil union recognized to receive the $35K survivors benefit that other survivors were receiving.
I've googled and come up with nothing about this interview, but I'm not making it up as my spouse told me a few minutes ago that he remembered it in the early morning fog.
I'm not trying to be a pain in the ass, but I can't find a (any) link(s) to the interview that I saw this morning, I was appalled and saddened.
Thanks in advance to anyone else who saw this interview and can direct me to a link(s) for it.
The weather channel...post interview I quickly switched to CNN and elsewhere and saw nothing. Has this been covered previously and I just missed it?

I still can't believe that the in depth interview that I saw this morning was on the weather channel.
Thanks!!

 I'm just glad that I remembered enough info. that I was given a link.
I'm still baffled that I saw an in depth interview with the surviving partner, who had 2 distinct lines of what looked like staples in the side of her head, on the weather channel. If another channel has done an in depth interview with this woman, I've totally missed it.
The freakin' weather channel...good for them, I'll hesitate to condemn the other 'news' channels until I know they didn't have this long, in depth interview.

6. The weather link was the wind event that took down a stage |
|
in IN. The first post to me affirmed what I had seen on the weather channel. I'm still kinda stunned that I saw the interview on the weather channel and I didn't see it anywhere else.
Or perhaps someone was covering the human losses of the wind event? I'm just glad that I saw it.

8. I'm not sure what you are trying to get at. |
|
If you don't like that the weather channel highlighted the situation of a same sex partner in a civil union being denied recognition of her union for survivors benefits as a result of a windstorm that killed her partner perhaps you might take it up with the state of IN or the private fund, as I understood it, that is paying the $35K survivors benefits.
Perhaps I'm mis understanding your tone?
