My first post on the subject today; and I'm so happy. I spent 12 years working with active duty HIV positive gay men; of course they went to great lengths to hide their sexual orientation, and would lie about how they became HIV infected for fear of repurcussion. It was so very sad they couldn't just be who they are so they could get the support they truly needed. There were a few of us they could speak openly to; I was bound by confidentiality because of my work and also earned their trust.

6. You certainly may!! I believe you should also mention the need for marriage equality regardless

of what the bigots say their god in the mix tells them.

I am very happy that some rights have been restored to an entire group of people that are being discriminated against and look forward to the day when all civil rights are enjoyed by all equally.

The younger generation agree as well, if their bigoted predecessors can not be moved, the youth will do it for them.
