Paul gay??

J S Spong's book Saving the Bible from Fundamentalism discusses this possibility in his chapter on Paul. He thinks this possibility explains much of Paul's dicussion of his guilt, etc, found in so many of the letters. And his joy in Jesus was joy in his being free of the condemnation of his society for what was his nature.

This may not be new to most of you; I found it interesting.

I guess I'm showing my age, but I remember the big rumor about Paul being dead, and how you could hear proof by playing 'Revolution 9' backward on the turntable. I thought maybe this was a modern update and you could hear "Paul is gay...Paul is gay" when you play 'someone's knocking at the door' or something. :)
