2. The ultimate aim of all on-line and computer-based "learning systems".
They don't even have the cost of shipping media anymore, everything is downloaded from the Net. And they expect customers to do all the installation.

Done properly, computer-based instruction could be a great boon, allowing all instruction to be customized to individual students' needs. In the hands of free marketeers, it's only going to provide minimal employee training at minimal cost.
