Bloomberg wants to do the same thing with Cathaleen Black.
There is some reason to think petitioning the NYS commissioner might be effective right about now. He ( Mr. Steiner) has shown a degree of independence from Bloomberg, Klein , and the gang, that the previous guy was incapable of exerting.
Anyone ( i.e. from any state) can sign.
Corporate domination of public schools is a *national* issue, after all.
