But I'm also pointing out that cash payment for good grades is not totally unheard of, and whether the inducements are direct monetary rewards or something else, knowledge for the sake of knowledge is not always sufficient motivation.



Tansy Gold, for whom knowledge alone is often TOO MUCH motivation, because she often prefers learning to earning and that's why she's poor.

Students earn “paychecks” each week, based on a point system that adds or subtracts value based on

items from the school store, e.g., snacks, KIPP clothing, and school supplies, and to earn privileges,

16. What people do for money

Think of all the atrocities that Kings and Corporations have routinely committed just to gain a little more gold.

Too many Americans have turned the laughable lie "greed is good" into their personal religion, becoming part of the evil and part of the problem.

Removing money will go a long way towards taking away the incentive for people to be evil. As Emperor, I promise every person will have free housing, free food that is healthy and chemical free, clean water, a modern lifestyle, unfettered access to communications networks including video phones and ultra high speed internet, an education, and a continual push toward the future and advances in all areas of science and technology. We will clean up our planet, remove all the toxic substances the Capitalistas have dumped in our land/air/water.

All advances in science and technology will be encouraged by holding competitions like the "X" prize, with the winners getting to play a vital part of the process of implementing their technology and spreading it to the citizens of the world.

Our heroes will be the people who work to make life better, not those whose every action brings pain/misery/death (as Capitalistas do now).

18. Great way to phrase this philosophy. Trouble with this

paying for learning is that it teaches the students to be manipulative, instead of teaching them to have some self-control. "Why should I do 'x'? I'm not getting paid for it. Yep, I've heard that in the classroom. It also feeds their focus on immediate rewards, when what most need to comprehend is long-term rewards.......a difficult enough task for a child without making it even harder.
