Because the Buckeyes don't have a win against an SEC football team in more than two decades.

9/24/88 - Ohio State beats LSU in Columbus 31-24.

I'd say they beat Arkansas last year in the Sugar bowl but a quick Google showed that that's not a win anymore for some reason. :shrug:
