Saints Beat the Pulp Out Of Colts 62-7 |
|
Not a fan of either team, but I have never seen a larger can of wup-ass in my life.

1. I hope karma bites the Saints in the ass in the future. |
|
They should have called the dogs off before hitting 62. No point in rubbing the Colts nose in the dirt when the game was over after the first quarter.

My God they were up by 28-0 with 11 minutes left in the half. Horrible

6. Pulled them in the 2nd quarter in an NFL game? |
|
I don't think so. 28 nothing with a half to go is still enough room for a comeback. Sure, they maybe shouldn't be throwing bombs at some point, but this is a pro game. How are the Saints to know they would score 60+?

And if you agree to play the game, then you agree to live with the outcome. It's not the Saints fault they scored 62. At some point it's up to the Colts to stop them, especially in the NFL.

9. Maybe they should call the game when the scores gets to a certain point? |
|
Say 40-0? Or is that more humiliating for the losing team? Or should the Saints have stopped trying at some point? Because I don't think that would do much for the credibility of the game.
It's never pretty to see a wipeout and the game has no meaning (I'm sure the broadcaster lost a huge chunk of their viewing audience after the half), unless you are a fan of the asswhuppin' team. This kind of score is something that's seen at the local HS/small college level...but I expect that a pro team ought to be more competitive than 62-0....even if you do lose your star quarterback, I don't think that's a valid excuse to give up.
Hard for me to find fault with the Saints on this score...if I'm a Colts fan, I'm embarrassed and pissed at my team doing an El Foldo in front of a national audience.

The Saints got beaten so hard for so long that karma is finally granting them some payback.

In the college game, I concede your point. But in the pros, let them put the hammer down.

Vick is my QB in fantasy and I have Painter and Ponder on the bench. I decided to start Painter because I thought the Packers secondary would be too much for the Rookie and the Vikes would run the ball. That decision meant that Painter was going to drop a huge deuce on the field.
