Romo beat the 49ers with a fractured rib |
|
Okay, so they were the dysfuntional 49ers. It still takes a lot of effort to bring your team from behind especially with a rib fracture.
I have a lot of respect for Tony Romo.

1. It's against DU rules to call out other members... |
|
And a post like this is guaranteed to call out madinmaryland, since he has so little to cheer about these days!

3. I was watching in the fourth quarter and one of the announcers said that |
|
Frank Gore was having a strong game. Then they showed a graphic of 20 rushes for 45 years. :wtf: They ate up a lot of clock at some point in the game, but really didn't go anywhere.

5. That's not a lot of rushes over 45 years |
|
:)
My take: the Dallas offense needs practice -- both Romo and the receivers looked a little rusty. Get the secondary back and they'll be strong. Cowboys blitzed a lot (as I predicted) that resulted in 5, maybe 6 sacks of Alex Smith and I don't know how many hurries and hits. I sensed doom when Harbaugh took the three points instead of the first down late in the fourth. Don't take points off the board? Screw that. It led to a loss in a game S.F. should have won.
