First trailer of the movie "Moneyball" is out. |

Looks pretty good. Aaron Sorkin wrote the screenplay, so you know the writing is going to be good. Brad Pitt plays Billy Beane and Philip Seymour Hoffman plays Art Howe. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4QPVo0UIzc

Looks like a lot of fun. Reports I've heard is the story has been dramatized for film, but then, what hasn't? Been years since I read Moneyball anyway. Glad to hear Sorkin wrote it.

It'd be hard to sell a movie to John Q. Public that's JUST about stats. You have to throw in some sugary sports movie sweetness to make any money. Hopefully, since it was Sorkin that wrote it, there won't be TOO many "sports movie" cliches.

I get tired of American films twisting facts and adding stuff in supposedly "true stories". Often times the true story is much more interesting than the shit they added in the movie. The reason they even make movies based on true stories is because the true story was so friggin' interesting. /Rant off. :)
