Wait until the Sox win again this year. They'll be on it, too.

Actually, it's always a great time to be in the Hub of the Universe.

7. This from the guy who was playing the "pity the Bruins" card earlier in the week. |
|
There is a reason it's now difficult to tell the difference between Red Sox and Yankees fans. I'm not quite sure what it is, but there has to be one.

8. Islanders, Islanders, Islanders, Islanders, Mets, Giants, Giants |
|
I had a simialar run like that in the eighties.
The Islanders cups Championships meant the most to me though. They are truly Long Islands only real sports team. Even greater was the fact that those teams were loaded with HOFers from the GM, coach all the way down to the players. I've never since seen a team in sports like that one.

And regarding the Giants, although I am a Jets fan, I can still appreciate a win for a New (Jersey) York team.

15. I detest the word "douchbags" but I get the point. |
|
Someone said last night that the local team with the longest championship drought now is the Patriots.
Having been a Red Sox and Bruins fan since the 60s I've been through many more lean years than good years so I'll celebrate these wins as we get 'em.
