Wow...LeBron goes to a new low, blaming God for the fact that he quits... |
|
“The Greater Man upstairs know when it's my time. Right now isn't the time,” James told his Twitter followers a few minutes later.
Oh...maybe he meant Stern!

1. That didn't bother me nearly as much |
|
as his comments from last night bascially saying that all the haters are hating because they dislike their personal lives. I'm sorry LeBron, my life is just fine. I hate you because you are a jerk, just like I hate a lot of other arrogant atheletes.

2. He's basically, once again, taking no repsonsibility for his actions... |
|
saying it wasn't his time, like there's some grand plan out there when the fact is he didn't show up for games 4 and 5.

3. Why do people care so much for a team they hate so much |
|
I never hated the Mavs. I like the Heat. I was rooting for my team to win. I didn't come in here to talk smack about the Mavs when they lost. They were the better team in the Finals. Congrats to them. They deserved the win. LeBron just mentioned that it wasn't his time. So what. My God a lot of obsessive behavior on one young man's comments. Where was all this hate for him when he was so wonderful in the Boston and Chicago series?? He had a bad series. It happens. The Heat made it to the Finals in their first year as a team. They will get better. I just enjoyed the ride while it lasted. So I thank the Miami Heat for making it such a wonderful NBA season :)

4. Why don't you look at the Lakers, the Yankees, Cowboys |

Edited on Mon Jun-13-11 10:36 AM by TZ
and you might understand. Fans outside the home cities tend to hate arrogance...and they REALLY hate arrogance that isn't backed up by winning. Come on, the douchebag behavior from before the season started announcing that the Heat were gonna win "not seven but eight" championships among other loathesome comments and behaviors displayed by the season brings WELL DESERVED disliked. Its not jealousy. Not at all. On Edit: And I'm just as happy for Dirk, finally winning it all. He seems like a really good guy.

5. You know, if you didn't have LeBron, I would not have cared who won... |
|
He's toxic and pretty soon your city is going to want him gone. I really don't buy into his hype...he scores so many points because he has a great deal of natural talent, and during most of the season, let's face it, other players don't do defense until the fourth quarter...then when things get tight, he falls apart.

9. Thank you! Finally someone isn't afraid to call god out... |
|
So many people thank god when they play well (or win), it' nice to see someone be consistent and blame god for poor play, bad luck, or a loss.
Just once I'd like to see a losing athlete come out in the post-game interview and say "God really fucked us today".

10. Lebron was terrific in the post game press conference |
|
Reporters pried for emotional or bitter answers and he stayed classy throughout. In fact, I had to laugh at the Heat haters who are so pathetic they don't even know what they're hearing. It was evidenced earlier in this thread. Lebron didn't say anything about fans disliking their lives. He said personal problems weren't solved by hating the Heat, that after a few days or weeks of glee at someone else's expense the real world awaits. That seems to be an accurate assessment but Heat haters are so delusional they can twist it into a personal insult.
Let's see, the Heat haters can now move on to their next project, the annual desperation for an NFL team to go unbeaten.

|
then why didn't he (James) stay in Cleveland? Is the "great man upstairs" not pro Cleveland?
