An effective way to lie is to express the truth in a way that makes it appear very implausible. |

Suppose there is a God who wants people to believe that there is no God. For example, maybe the target audience isn't people of this era in history. The target audience might be people of the future.

Think that TV shows is them trying to tell the stories of now, from their perspective, to the future.
From that those that believe in temporal lore think that any tv should be inaccurate to hide from the time cops. So temporal lore doctrine is to remove education of people, and transparency in organizations.
It has an effect of getting people afraid of a 'bad thing in the future' that will use what they see against them, and supports secrecy.
The doctrine is in many places, it is an excuse for inaccurate news.
Many people believe supernatural is about time travelers, I even had a fiction story was going to write about it, but don't think that is it, since temporal lore does not explain many things.

You pose a hypothetical then start talking about target audiences, like for advertising. The target audience for what? Whose target audience? And what does it have to do with you hypothetical?
