It is serial numbered as 99 (there is also a 5 digit serial number as well on the plug-in) and only 136 were made. It comes complete with a hard case in the style of the era.
I bought it in 2001 and never really played it (I find 12 strings are so difficult to tune), so it is in great condition.
Color: Black and white with a rosewood neck.
My description of this instrument is that it is like an overgrown mandolin. A Rickenbacker 325 is a 3/4 scale of the 330.
Any offers?

albeit a six string (black and white) and it is the one I play all the time. This one is my baby.
