Things were looking up for Billy Ray Cyrus. He was single again, proudly mulleted once more and just this morning, Jesus followed him on Twitter. There was virtually nothing that could bring him down – until someone decided to put video cameras on cell phones. Here’s his reaction to the now-infamous video of Miley Cyrus smoking a bong that her publicist somehow managed to convince everyone was just salvia:

15. I don't think that Miley Cyrus or her dad

are (or ever claimed to be) "christian". They don't strike me as the heavy-duty fundie types and most fundies don't have a lot of love for Disney either. Doesn't Miley publicly support equal rights for gays and lesbians too? She also warned us, albeit cryptically at the time, for people (i.e. kids) not make her a "role model"? Maybe she knew that this was going to come out at some point although, let's face it, celebrities have NO real privacy whatsoever.

That all being said, I have too much other things going to spend a whole lot of time worrying about her life (or her life to be). Hopefully, however, she will end up better than, say, Lindsey Lohan.
