We're proud of them and hope that a broader audience may serve them well. Please support independent music by giving them a listen. Thanks! http://www.facebook.com/pages/KICKING-THOMAS/56380372866?v=app_2405167945&ref=ts

I got Fairytale playing. I like the harmonies, the off-beat stuff, and the chord progressions kick.
It's Alright is doing a similar thing.
Good for you guys!

2. Very Nice! A big sound for just 3 Musicians... hard to do. |
|
Harmonies are very nice.. really fill in.
Kind of reminds me of the old Grand Funk Railroad..."I'm you Captain" with some Hootie and the Blowfish mixed in.

I did, however hear a couple things I'd change based on what I'm hearing here.
It sounds like the compressor on the snare would benefit from a slower attack time, it's a bit thin and adding more 120-160hZ might give it more oomph. Overall the mix is nice and clean but sounds a bit hollow, as though too much of the low mids have been sucked out. Were the drums "Beat-Detected" at all? But these are minor quibbles. I know all too well how much work goes into something this good. Are these the mastered versions?
Carry on ~

Hanging out in recording forums one forgets that not everyone is interested in mixing suggestions. Keep making the good music.

9. Just a bystander, obviously |

and certainly can't speak for the person who created this music, but personally, if I posted any of my stuff here, and asked people to listen, I'd be very gratified that someone listened closely enough to post positive and constructive criticism/ideas about what I'd recorded. Again, just speaking for myself.
