DURHAM, N.H. -- University of New Hampshire students and staff are being told to use their judgment today as authorities check out an e-mailed threat about pipe bombs around campus.
UNH spokeswoman Kim Billings says state police with bomb-sniffing dogs are checking out the threat. She says the university alerted everyone to a threat of four pipe bombs using a "blast" e-mail.
She says the school is hypersensitive about safety because of the recent tragedy at Virginia Tech University.
