South Bend, Indiana police investigating suspicious package downtown

SOUTH BEND -- Police are downtown investigating a suspicious package early Monday morning.

Police were called at about 4:05 a.m. to the U.S. Post Office at 424 S. Michigan St. after receiving a call about the package, according to a dispatcher. They are still on the scene investigating the package, as of about 5:30 a.m.
