SALISBURY, Mass. -- Police serving a drug warrant at a home found a cache of "military-type" ammunition and explosives inside, authorities said.
The munitions included grenades, dynamite and 81 mm shells, Chief David L'Esperance said Tuesday.
The state police bomb squad, as well as agents from the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives responded to the scene.

The home was cordoned off overnight and surrounding homes will be evacuated when the explosives are removed from the home, officials said. The munitions will be taken to an isolated beach in Salisbury where they will be destroyed, officials said.
