Has anyone else picked up on this? |

Remember the conversation between Tennant and bush where Tennant is giving him the evidence against Iraq? bush says, "Is that all we have?" Tennant says, "Don't worry, it's a slam dunk." Don't worry, don't worry. What does that mean? Don't worry, Iraq can fuck us up pretty good. Doesn't that seem like the thing we SHOULD worry about? And if they are harmless, presumably we should worry? Yeah, worry about getting busted for starting a war for no good reason. Just proves they wanted to attack Iraq no matter what. What do you guys think, anything to this?

1. It was an election year (2002). |

Tenet and Bush knew that it would be political suicide to vote against "an imminent threat." Only those who weren't up for reelection or were close enough to retirement not to give a damn were able to vote their consciences.
