There is a great article from the Guardian on the influence of Puritanism on Bush's ideology. http://www.guardian.co.uk/print/0,3858,5032432-103680,00.htmlBush uses the same language that Puritanists used toward their enemies.

would be necessary. How would he dare. Thou shalt not bare false witness, right. Too much lying to be anything of any church. (Just my thoughts on it.) I'm sick of him using religion as his calling to do all this, yet lie his ass off doing, it? No, no, no, no, no.... !!!

Bush is as much a Puritan as Tony Soprano is a good Catholic. But it looks good on the campaign.
