Have you ever noticed how big brother like CNN is?

They have a show called Your Money, they tell you what to think, what to do, how to live. They want you to be a good little consumer, their anchor models talk condescendingly down to you as if they were gods on Mount Olympus. They constantly report about death, to keep you scared. Msnbc has shows about prisons to keep you scared and in line too. Liberal my ass. They all suck. Little bones of liberalism thrown at you are not the same as TRUE liberalism. How about support for Social Democrats and a real party for us to vote into power?

All the networks supported the fake teabag movement, but on the Occupy movement all they talk about are arrests, again trying to scare you not to challenge them and the 1% who like the status quo the way it is so they can keep taking advantage of the population. We are citizens, we must demand our rights, we must demand the breakup of the corporate media monopolies. If we stay silent we are letting them run right over us and we will be no better than road kill. Wake up America!

1. Difficult to judge

We only get the the International edition in the UK. I watched the BBC World edition while out in Cuba last year - that really is pants compared with our home site.

Aside from that I avoid listening to or reading any opinion whatsofuckingever in the media.

2. My head ached trying to endure it for 10-12 minutes as background noise

It was on in the breakroom, very loud so impossible to ignore. Preachy. I couldn't get over how obnoxiously irritating it was. Flashy, over-edited...and somehow very packaged I thought. It's clear they were more or less spoon-feeding the "news" to us. Man it was so dumbed-down! Most of it wasn't really reporting what happened or what was this or that, but what some other talking head had to say about whatever somebody else said about this or that.

How can people watch that garbage more than 15 minutes without wanting to retire to a quiet forest for 3 days to clear their heads. Than again, some people can't get enough of that shit:banghead:
