But in different ways. And the attack on the insurance companies can start with a Senate bill today -- but a conference committee will have to hone it into a sharper attack.

He can multitask -
Obama plays a careful game on having a leading opinion on an industry that is 1/7th of our economy because it could and can cause the market to bobble.
Just the same, the market is going to bounce like a Harlem Trotter basketball NO MATTER WHAT the outcome is, until everyone adjusts and evolves, so Obama needs to play a less careful game and be that populist leader we elected.
Coddling the insurance companies as an equal participating entity is not being a populist leader. The primary healthcare insurance industry should not exist as a private enterprise any more than we should trust private enterprise to supply us with breathing air.
Elective healthcare - sure, no problem.
