I always felt they were legitimate.

2. All of a sudden they are on my e-mail - 20 of the 30 topics are on Swine Flu while the rest |
|
cover torture, etc. The topics are definitely slanted but it claims to be a bi-partisan group.

3. Yes and no. They've never met a conspiracy theory they didn't like. |

However, I have adopted some of their "style guide," such as referring to Bush as "pResident Bush" or "President {sic} Bush."
I'd say CLG is well-intentioned, but has a few strains of antisemitism, and lean heavily toward gullibility.

with these people? What ever happened to Who, What, Where, When and Why and let the readers come to their own conclusions? Why does every news story have to be an "opinion piece"?

5. I have no problem with every piece being an opinion piece. There is a need for that. |

I have to credit CLG for introducing me to the left-wing blogosphere.
I also have to thank DU for introducing me to the non-loony-left part of the blogosphere.
I found DU through CLG, and soon realized how far "out-there" they really are on SOME things.
CLG has their place, and their place is right next to a huge grain of salt.
