Talking about the CMA snubbing him, saying " I can forgive a lot, but I don't ever forget. There's some people in there that didn't have anything to do with it running now, but there's always going to be some people around there that had something to do with it. And they can all kiss my ass":

hmm ... maybe he should thing about how he uses people to promote himself ... (sound like a bunch of fat-ass Repuke blowhards we have heard of?):

1. Ah, Toby Keith............. |
|
He was quick as lightning to write a smarmy, vulgar, chauvinistic song about going to war with Iraq, even though it made no sense.
Couldn't wait to get over there and "entertain the troops," dressing up in his little cammies, looking so military and all like that.
Sounded the WAR WAR WAR chant every time he opened his fat mouth.
Now he's all left and peace and love and like that.
Fuck him.

haven't flown over there to give a free concert lately. Also - I think the song was about payback to Afghanistan over 9-11 - like a few Americans he was a bit miffed about the American's murdered and wanted to catch Bin Laden. There was no song that I know of from him about Iraq - I think I heard him say Iraq didn't do anything to us.

9. Did you read the stuff at the second link? |
|
where he admits that he went and said he was for Obama ...
SO THAT IT WOULD GET HIS NAME IN THE NEWS???
Sounds to me like he isn't very sincere in his "support" of Obama ... sounded more like he was wanting to get his name in the news to sell records ...

8. Back during the Dixie Chicks brouhaha... |
|
Keith put up a photoshop of Natalie Maines hugging Saddam Hussein during one of his concerts. It was cool to be "anti-liberal" back then. So I would say at the very least he is a hypocritical jerk, and I shed not one tear for the country music establishment turning on him like they did on the Chicks. Karma sucks, Toby.
