7. What amazes me is how long he managed to stay on. |
|
The shelf life of the average low-rated MSNBC show is not all that long. Most poorly rated shows on that network last six months to a year. Tucker's been kicking it since about the spring of 2005. That's a three-year run--which gives him what is probably one of the longest-running live shows ever in MSNBC history. I think only Brian Williams' old news show, Scarborough Country, Hardball and Countdown were or have been on longer.

8. He's only been hanging on |

by his well manicured and soft little hands for a couple of years now. He's completely irrelevant, and I say, lift a glass to Dan Abrams, assuming it was his decision. :toast:

9. Sources say the network is going to beef up its schedule with more NBC News talent. |
|
"More talent." They could just leave his empty chair on the set and they'd have more talent than they ever had with him.

David Gregory is gonna take his time slot, which is good 'cause David Gregory is one of the better journalists out there (next to Keith, of course) and he doesn't spew a lot of repug bullshit like Tweety.
