Finally, a Republican understands why we need health care reform

I was shocked to hear Republican Congressman from Arizona on MSNBC. He really did a passionate job explaining what is wrong with our health care system. He wasn't specifically talking about HR 4789 - Medicare You Can Buy Into Act, but certainly made one of the best cases for the bill that I have heard.

1. Talk is cheap. Will he vote YES???

Rep. Cao said he would vote YES except for the abortion language. Maybe they can explain to him that his worries are unjustified.

2. We Want Medicare. Good idea.

I never understood why the congress did not just lower the age of Medicare and let anyone in. It would have been more cost effective than start 100 new government beauracries.

The cost of health care reform would have been cheaper if HR4789 would have been adopted.
