I'm an idea man: how to improve Pringles

So why not make the container with a plunger on the bottom, you know, like a push-up popsicle?

1. I've always thought that having it open lengthwise would be best.
So it splits open like a clam.

4. They already have that.
They call them "100 calorie packs".

3. What happens when you put the can down when it's not empty?
Maybe you just need bigger chips, in a can your hand will fit.

6. or maybe a can that unwraps
like they've added to those Lean-Pockets (and presumably Hot Pockets) holders. This is the kind of out of the box thinking that got us out of the trees in the first place.

"Many were increasingly of the opinion that they'd all made a big mistake in coming down from the trees in the first place. And some said that even the trees had been a bad move, and that no one should ever have left the oceans."

5. That's a great idea!
Maybe if they made the cans about 1/2 as high, there would be no need for some kind of stick or pushing device. Make the container at a length where a finger is sufficient, and put in a heavy, unattached bottom.

Or, you could just tip the can and pour them out. :-)

8. I used to love pringles as a kid till one day I thought about how they
couldn't get a perfect fit like that out of real potatoes.

9. Just sell them in a bag.
That way half of them will be reduced to crumbs before they even leave the grocery shelf....er...oh, so that's why they chose a tube? Why didn't they just think of putting chips in a damned box? Like cookies and crackers?

11. Pringles' initial intention was to make tennis balls...
I think Pringles' initial intention was to make tennis balls. But on the day that the rubber was supposed to show up, a big truckload of potatoes arrived. But Pringles was a laid-back company. They said "Fuck it. Cut 'em up."

10. I would eat them too fast.
Getting my hand stuck in the can is the only thing that slows me down.
