ok, what is the significance of '#'?
i'm usually auto didactic about these kinda things, eventually sussing them out through context, but this one's got me stumped...

1. "Hashtages" or the # sign is used to designate addresses or subject lines
In some of the social media - Twitter, I think. The convention of using it is spreading to other places.
