Computer Help Needed. My favorite sites all got very, very small. |
|
When I open my browser (Google Chrome) and open some of my favorite sites, like DU, everything is now so tiny on the screen that I can barely read it. And I have a lot of extra "white space" where none was before.
I assume its some kind of setting, but what and where? It's not the basic screen resolution setting on "Control Panel" -- my other applications and my desktop are all normal.
Help, please?

1. OK, now I'm using Internet Explorer, and screens are normal sized. |
|
Gotta be some setting on Google Chrome.

5. No offense intended, but Chrome is nothing but a data collection tool. Use Firefox. |

On Edit: that's not the issue with the display size. Earlier posts already answered the question.

7. Google has never hided the fact that they only created Chrome to collect data. |

It is only fast because it is under-powered. You surrender all rights to privacy just by opening it. It is probably better than IE, but that's not saying much. Firefox works on damn near any computer, regardless of the OS. So does Thunderbird (e-mail) and Sunbird (scheduling).
As for Firefox crashing, I haven't experienced that on any computer. I HAVE had situations where it didn't die when closed and I had to use the task manager to kill it. That's rare and generally only happens when it is saturated with memory.
