Anyone have a toasted mouse recipe? |
|
I turned on the stove to preheat it. A few minutes later smoke started coming up from inside the stove, but I wasn't cooking anything yet. I turned it off.
I pulled the broiler out and there was a dead mouse in there and he had been on fire. I guess it was as good a place as any to die...

3. I don't have a cat...if I did he would be fired. |
|
My dog thinks mice are fun to play with once in a while if he finds them outside but inside he really doesn't care.

5. 'Globe Trekker' tv travel series shown on PBS. Deep Fried Mouse on a Stick. |
|
The episode was about traveling through the Great Rift Valley in E. Africa. I don't remember which specific country the host was in at that point, I think it might have been Malawi. Anyway, the local "street food" delicacy was some kind of field mouse impaled on a stick an deep fried, fur and all. She said the ears were considered the best part.
Yum, yum. Almost like the coconut coated, deep fried fruit bat they served on some South Pacific island nation.

we've caught 6 of the little bastards last week. I think they're coming from a neighbor's house (two doors down) you can smell their house from the road. Two bedroom home with two dogs, cats, three kids, two adults..the trash in the yard...good lord.

so they eat it and die. I hate doing this, but I have to get rid of them. Unfortunately it means they stagger around and usually die in the cupboards. This one died in the stove and caught on fire. The kinder methods have never worked for me.

Cats eat cat food. People eat people food. Mouse is cat food.
