FBI, IRS Search Home of DC Councilmember Thomas

FBI and IRS agents on Friday searched the home of a District of Columbia council member who was accused by the city's attorney general of diverting more than $300,000 in city funds for personal use.

Nearly two dozen law-enforcement personnel took part in the search of the home of D.C. Councilmember Harry Thomas Jr.

Agents loaded a Chevrolet Tahoe and a motorcycle of Thomas' onto a tow truck. They also left with several bags and boxes of items.

Federal authorities have been investigating Thomas, a Democrat, since at least June, when the District of Columbia attorney general filed a lawsuit accusing him of spending more than $300,000 in city funds on an Audi SUV, vacations and other personal expenses. Thomas agreed to repay the money but did not acknowledge any wrongdoing.

3. One has to wonder how they find time to prosecute a man like Thomas

when their efforts are going toward the insane lunacy of the "war on drugs" and throwing elderly cancer patients in jail, while stealing their property. This while casting a blind eye to blatant bankster fraud and pug malfeasance so rampant that even the dumbest among us are aware of it as our pockets are picked clean.....oh wait....he's a "Democrat"...never mind.
