I've encountered more than one MAGA who honestly, genuinely thought other countries would pay the tariffs Twinklesphincter promised. They were shocked - shocked! - to learn otherwise. Even though we'd been shouting the truth about tariffs for months before the election.

Whether that will translate into better voting decisions in the future is unclear.
