8. Do you want to hear from someone that grew up there?

Here I am. I left a decade ago and was just there last month, March 2019 to bury my brother.

If you read Pete's book, you'll know what the issues are, were, have been for decades in SB (South Bend).

It was so bad, not only would I purchase my first house in the nearby city of Mishawaka, I was told never to go on the west side of town as a child. Ever. And I can count on my hands how many times I've been on that side of town even though I lived there for 40+ yrs.

In Mishawaka, the problem is is with poor white people living like hillbillies (of which I can say with scorn and pride).

In South Bend, the poor are black, hispanic or white too.

Poor doesn't discriminate on people's skin color and anybody that has lived in any city knows that. Even small ones like SB. Ask away but you may not get replies on time as I'm unpacking my container delivery. Everything I own is now under one roof, phew.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
