4. Redevelopment is always controversial and can be unfair.

But it's also necessary sometimes. I'd like to see him talk about how we do a fairer job of redevelopment. He's hinted at it, sort of, it makes a lot of sense and nobody else is talking about it at all. It's something that mayors understand very well but governors and senators don't. The direction he's hinting at would also be controversial. However, if he goes down that road, African Americans may love it.
