The problem with her candidacy was never that she was female. Indeed, at our local caucus in 2016 the main reason she got ANY support (my precinct went hard for Bernie) is because she's a woman. There was a lot of talk about what our daughters would see when they watch her inauguration. Stuff like that.

Now, just to be clear, I will not vote for ANY woman over any man. I like Butigiegieg a lot, and there are some other smart candidates that I could vote for, gender aside. But goddammit, we're way overdue for a woman in the Whitehouse, and right now we have the strongest field of women we have ever had.

And about the polling, did you see Rachel last night? If polling at this point was any indicator we would have had president Giuliani in 2008. I'm not worried about current polling.

I want to beat Trump as bad as you do, but just watching the numbers isn't the way to find the best candidate.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
