Controversial new Sanders advisor's "apology": i am not my tweets from 2009. [View all]

This is the sexist pig who was tweeting then that Michelle Obama is ugly.

He's now trying to weasel out of being blamed for that by saying he isn't the person he was then.

But he's a senior advisor in a campaign that is trying its best to highlight every damn thing they disagree with that Joe Biden said as long as 50 years ago.

This is the newly-hired weasel's "apology"...to which Sanders' serial-liar press secretary, she of the frequent "I misspoke" apologies, replied with a string of hearts:

i am not my tweets from 2009.

still, words have power to heal & to harm and i acknowledge and apologize for when my words harm.

i've spent years speaking life and love into my community but i was wrong and i have to be accountable.

please take a minute to read my statement:

Note that he's portraying himself as a victim of socialization: "I grew up socialized by false standards of beauty and success."

I have news for him.

Most of America had NO TROUBLE AT ALL seeing just how beautiful Michelle Obama was, and is.

2009 wasn't all that long ago.

And his self-serving apology is inadequate.

Despite the silly string of hearts posted by Briahna Joy Gray in response:

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
